FALCONS TO HOLD PUMPKIN CARVING CONTEST

Springfield, Mass. - The Springfield Falcons are inviting fans to submit a photo of their Falcons-themed pumpkin this Halloween season!

The Falcons will judge each pumpkin based on creativeness and spookiness. The winner will receive a mystery Falcons autographed prize. Entries submitted prior to Springfield's home game this Sunday on "Halloween Hockey Night" against Portland have a chance to be featured during the game on the MassMutual Center video board. Fans are encouraged on Sunday to showcase their Halloween apparel as Falcons in-arena host Kevin Johnson will give away prizes to fans wearing the best costumes throughout the game.

Fans have until 3:00 p.m. on Halloween to enter. The winner will be notified following the Oct. 31 deadline.
